Dr. Nisha & Ashok Vashishta

Mount Pleasant Medical Associates is a comprehensive medical group, caring for patients of all ages. We focus on preventive medicine and health maintenance by providing wellness exams, routine and sports physicals, and patient education. We help our patients share in the responsibility of exercising good health practices for themselves and their families. We provide medical care for most conditions including, but not limited to, heart disease, diabetes, hypertension, and thyroid disease.

Dr. Nisha Vashishta has cared for families in Mount Pleasant, Michigan since 2002, providing compassionate, high-quality care through every stage of life, from infants to seniors. She is board certified in Family Medicine and is on active staff at McLaren Central Michigan Hospital, where she has served as Chair of Family Practice.

Ashok Vashishta, MD

Dr. Ashok Vashishta has practiced internal medicine in the Mount Pleasant, Michigan area for over 20 years, caring for adults in the office, the hospital, and the community. He admits and follows his own patients at McLaren Central Michigan Hospital, and he's actively involved in the rehabilitation of patients at local nursing homes. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and serves as Chief Medical Officer of McLaren Central Michigan Hospital. Outside of work he enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending time with his grandson.
